BELGRADE - Serbia's January-February 2026 external goods trade totalled 11.5 bln euros, which is a 1.3 pct decline y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office this week.
Goods exports were worth 5,291.6 mln euros, rising by 1.6 pct y-o-y, while imports totalled 6,227.9 mln euros, declining by 3.5 pct y-o-y.
The deficit was 936.3 mln euros, down by 24.9 pct y-o-y.
The export-import ratio was 84.9 pct, up from 80.7 pct in the same period of last year.
The Vojvodina region accounted for the largest share of exports (29.8 pct) and the Belgrade region had the largest share of imports (44.8 pct).
External goods trade was the highest with countries with which Serbia has free trade agreements and EU member states accounted for 59.9 pct of the total.
Serbia's top export partners were Germany, Italy, China, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Czechia and its main import partners were China, Germany, Italy, Hungary and Turkey.
