BELGRADE - The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (PKS) will host a Serbia-Romania business forum in Belgrade on April 13.
It will be attended by 30 Romanian firms from several of the country's regions.
The Romanian business delegation will be comprised of companies from the construction, IT, textile, energy and transport industries, the PKS has announced.
A source at the Romanian embassy in Belgrade said the Romanian retail chain Dedeman was interested in coming to the Serbian market.
The presidents of the Serbian and Romanian chambers of commerce, Marko Cadez and Mihai Daraban, will discuss matters of significance for advancement of Serbia-Romania economic cooperation, above all, in trade, energy, transport, tourism and cross-border cooperation.
The business forum will be an opportunity to revive the cooperation, as well as to sign new agreements and renew contacts between Serbian and Romanian companies, said Marija Sepi from the PKS Centre for Europe.
