Djedovic Handanovic, German ambassador discuss cooperation in energy sector

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic met with German Ambassador to Belgrade Anke Konrad on Tuesday to discuss current projects and cooperation in the energy sector.

"Our two countries have been cooperating in the energy sector for more than 25 years now, during which a deep and thorough relationship has been built, with a series of successful projects in whose implementation we always overcame challenges successfully," Djedovic Handanovic posted on Instagram.

She added that Serbia and Germany were cooperating on numerous projects that would contribute to development of Serbia's energy sector.

"We respect German companies and the cooperation but, as always, we will be looking after our companies and protecting our interests," Djedovic Handanovic noted.
