BRUSSELS - The Serbian economy will grow by 2.2 pct in 2023 and 3.1 pct in 2024, as well as by 3.7 pct in 2025, the European Commission (EC) said in its latest forecast, released on Wednesday.
"Economic growth is projected to accelerate to 3.1 pct in 2024 and 3.7 pct in 2025, mostly on the back of accelerating private consumption growth, helped by lower inflation, and a pick-up of investment," the EC said on its website.
It also said the euro zone would avoid recession in 2023, with its economy to grow by 0.2 pct in Q4 and 0.6 pct y-o-y.
