Mojsilovic attends EU Military Committee meeting

BUDAPEST - Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) Chief of General Staff Gen Milan Mojsilovic attended a chief of defence-level EU Military Committee meeting in Budapest on Tuesday.

The meeting addressed the contribution of Western Balkan countries to the EU common security and defence policy and possibilities for further advancement of cooperation, the Serbian MoD said in a statement.

In a speech, Mojsilovic outlined Serbia's contribution through participation of SAF troops in operations and missions under EU auspices as well as within the EU's HELBROC battle group.

He confirmed the SAF's commitment to building and preservation of peace and security in the region and to further strengthening of cooperation and trust with Western Balkan countries as well as the EU.

The meeting was hosted by EU Military Committee Chairman Gen Robert Brieger, the statement said.
