BELGRADE - Pristina does not want to form a Community of Serb Municipalities, envisioned by the 2013 Brussels Agreement, but only to cause a war conflict and get Serbia into a conflict with NATO and the whole world while portraying itself as the victim and the "Zelenskyy of the Balkans," Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday.

Addressing a special parliament session on Kosovo-Metohija, Vucic said the Pristina regime had started harassing Kosovo-Metohija Serbs with the sole objective of humiliating them and causing a conflict.

Pristina wants to portray us as an aggressor, as someone who has endangered the "territorial integrity of the sovereign and independent state of Kosovo," Vucic said, noting that Pristina's narrative was hypocritical.

That is what the whole game was about, and that is why the arrests of Kosovo-Metohija Serbs began, he said.

Following the withdrawal of Serbs from its institutions, Pristina called elections in the four Serb municipalities in the north of Kosovo-Metohija for December and, despite a promise it would postpone the elections, just 12.5 hours before the decision was to be made official, it sent special forces to seize the offices of municipal electoral commissions in the north, Vucic said.

Last year, Pristina first refused to allow Kosovo-Metohija Serbs to vote in a Serbian referendum on constitutional changes and then also banned them from voting in Serbian elections, with the aim of influencing electoral results, Vucic said.

Pristina made up problems related to IDs, vehicle re-registration and other things and, in the end, Albin Kurti said in Berlin he would not form a Community of Serb Municipalities, Vucic also noted.
