BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Tuesday evening the assembly of his Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) would meet on May 27.
"That is when we will make all the important decisions," Vucic said in an appearance on Pink TV.
He added that, as president, he would visit nearly all districts in the country prior to that as part of a Serbia 2025 economic development programme.
He said he had had a long discussion with government ministers from the SNS about all the problems facing the country and about what could be done to strengthen the economy, the army and the health care sector.
"I have never said I want to be PM again and run for PM, because you cannot be a candidate for PM, but a candidate on a list of MPs. I neither want that nor have I said that at the party meeting, as some regional media reported," Vucic noted.
Vucic held a meeting with PM Ana Brnabic and government ministers from the SNS at the Presidency of Serbia on Tuesday.
