Vucic receives farewell visit from US ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received a farewell visit from US Ambassador to Belgrade Christopher Hill on Friday, noting that, while they had not always agreed on everything, they had had an open and sincere approach.

"In the past four years, I often met with Ambassador Hill and discussed all matters. We did not always agree on everything, but we had an open and sincere approach. A thank you to him for everything he has done for improvement of bilateral relations, for hearing out our country and for his understanding for it, as well as for his personal contribution to strengthening of US-Serbia ties," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.

Vucic wished Hill success in his future work and said he hoped his future engagements would bring him to Serbia often and that he would remain a friend of Serbia and its progress and a promoter of good relations between the two countries and nations.
