Dacic meets with Interior Ministry liaison officers

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic on Thursday held a regular meeting with Interior Ministry liaison officers dispatched to Serbian diplomatic and consular missions worldwide.

At the meeting, held at the Palace of Serbia, Dacic urged the officers to continue to make a full contribution to boosting international police cooperation.

Dacic noted the contribution of police attaches to advancement of bilateral cooperation in interior affairs as well as to a more efficient fight against all forms of crime, as confirmed by the results achieved to date, a statement from his office said.

Dacic highlighted the fact the Interior Ministry had police attaches posted to the most significant international police organisations - Europol and Interpol - which he said demonstrated its full commitment to fighting transnational organised crime and maintaining global security.
