Serbia, Iran to sign memorandum on cooperation in ICT sector

BELGRADE - At the invitation of Serbian Minister of Information and Telecommunications Dejan Ristic, Iranian Minister of Information and Communications Technology Sayyid Sattar Hashemi will be on an official visit to Serbia on February 26-27.

The two ministers will meet at the Palace of Serbia on Thursday, after which the Serbian Ministry of Information and Telecommunications and the Iranian Ministry of Information and Communications Technology will sign a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the ICT sector.

Under the inter-state document, the two sides will commit to promote an expansion of cooperation, support an exchange of knowledge, experience and expert staff between economic entities, scientific and educational institutions, public administration authorities and other organisations in the two countries that are active in the ICT sector.
