BELGRADE - The Pristina authorities denied entry to Kosovo-Metohija to Serbian Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar on Wednesday, Tanjug's correspondent from Kosovo-Metohija reports.
Loncar was due to visit health centres in Kosovska Mitrovica and Gracanica to speak with health care professionals and look into the way the Serbian health care system in the province is functioning and how it could be improved further.
Pursuant to all procedures, Loncar's visit was announced as early as on Monday, but Pristina did not make a positive response even after several follow-up requests made through Belgrade's liaison officer in Pristina on Tuesday.
In a reaction, Loncar said Pristina's decision not to allow him to visit Kosovo-Metohija as health minister was disgraceful and represented a direct violation of valid agreements as the visit had been announced.
