Djuric, Szijjarto discuss cooperation in energy, infrastructure

LUXEMBOURG - Serbian FM Marko Djuric met with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto in Luxembourg on Wednesday to discuss bilateral cooperation, above all, in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

They met on the sidelines of a Council of Europe Committee of Ministers meeting, the Serbian MFA said in a statement.

Special attention was devoted to advancement of railway transport between Serbia and Hungary.

Djuric said that, in the coming period, cooperation must focus on boosting energy security and infrastructure ties.

The ministers said they were pleased with the exceptional level of bilateral relations and discussed opportunities for further advancement of political, economic and all other relations between the two countries.

Djuric said frequent high- and top-level meetings also contributed to successful cooperation.

Djuric and Szijjarto also discussed cooperation between their ministries, as well as current international topics, the statement said.
