BELGRADE - Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Milos Vucevic, who is also the Serbian president's adviser for regional affairs, said Tuesday's gathering outside his Novi Sad family home had been organised by opposition politicians Marinika Tepic and Bojan Pajtic.
"What happened outside my home had been directly prepared for me by Marinika Tepic, and Bojan Pajtic. They need a Serbian citizen's blood shed," Vucevic said on Informer TV.
He said that, before the gathering, it had been "clear that something was brewing."
"Because Marinika Tepic, the worst liar, was pushing untrue stories about me for days," he added.
"Bojan Pajtic said it was time to attack some people's houses," Vucevic said, noting that Pajtic, a professor at a faculty of law, was "calling for attacks on the houses and flats of people who do not think the same way as they (the opposition) do."
Vucevic noted that the SNS had never attacked anyone's home or harmed anyone's child or spouse.
"You have to demonstrate dignity and responsibility. I think the worst of them, but I would never do anything against their families," he said.
