Zaric Kovacevic, Swiss ambassador discuss bilateral relations, cooperation

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister for Family Welfare and Demography Jelena Zaric Kovacevic met with Swiss Ambassador to Belgrade Anne Lugon-Moulin on Wednesday to discuss opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The parties said they were pleased that Serbia-Switzerland diplomatic relations were more than a century old, and noted that bilateral economic and trade ties were highly developed, an official statement said.

Zaric Kovacevic thanked the ambassador for Switzerland being one of the most significant bilateral donors as part of international development cooperation.

Lugon-Moulin expressed readiness for defining new areas of cooperation and for stronger cooperation, as well as for forging a partnership, and said she was confident that sharing good practices was key to strengthening institutional cooperation and development of bilateral relations.
