BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric said Friday's forceful entry of Pristina’s police into the offices of the Serbian health insurance and pension funds in Kosovska Mitrovica was an "unacceptable and inhumane act."
"By targeting institutions that provide health care and pensions, this action strikes at the most vulnerable – the sick, the elderly and the socially disadvantaged.
Such unilateral steps undermine dialogue, threaten regional stability and blatantly disregard basic human rights and existing agreements," Djuric posted on X.
"We call on the European Union, the UN and all responsible international actors to react without delay and to ensure that essential services for Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija are protected. Health and human dignity must never be used as a political weapon," he concluded.
Assisted by the so-called "Kosovo Police", the Pristina authorities also seized Post of Serbia offices in Gracanica and Strpce on Thursday.
