BELGRADE - Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Gen Milan Mojsilovic received on Friday a farewell visit from outgoing KFOR commander Maj Gen Enrico Barduani, who will be succeeded by Turkish general Ozkan Ulutas next month.
Mojsilovic and Barduani discussed security challenges, the current situation and activities the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR were undertaking in Serbia's autonomous province of Kosovo-Metohija, and touched upon the results of Barduani's one-year term and challenges faced during that period, the Serbian MOD said in a statement.
Thanking Barduani for his cooperation and professional engagement as KFOR commander, Mojsilovic wished the Italian general success in new duties.
He also expressed gratitude to Italian KFOR troops for playing an important role in protecting Serbian religious and cultural heritage in their zone of responsibility, in keeping with their mandate.
