Brnabic meets with French FM in Paris

PARIS - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic continued a visit to Paris with a meeting with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot on Thursday.

Brnabic and Barrot met on the sidelines of the Paris Peace Forum.

"An excellent meeting with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot. We discussed Serbia's EU path and, on that occasion, I expressed great gratitude to France for the support it is providing to Serbia on that path. I hope we will soon have an opportunity to welcome Mr Barrot in Belgrade," Brnabic said after the meeting.

Brnabic, who attended the opening of the Paris Peace Forum on Wednesday, will on Thursday address a panel on the geopolitical race for mineral resources.

On Wednesday, Brnabic also met with French National Assembly Speaker Yael Braun-Pivet and Senate Speaker Gerard Larcher.
