Vucic extends condolences over deadly Hong Kong fire

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has extended condolences to the families of the victims of a deadly fire in Hong Kong, as well as to the leadership and the people of PR China.

"With profound sorrow, I have received the news of the tragic fire in Hong Kong that resulted in a significant loss of life. On my own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia, I extend our deepest sympathies to the families of the victims, as well as to the leadership and people of the People’s Republic of China, and express our sincere wishes for a swift recovery to those who were injured," Vucic posted on X.

The death toll of the apartment complex fire rose to 55 on Thursday morning, with around 280 people reported missing.
