Mali speaks with world-renowned economist Jeffrey Sachs

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali spoke with world-renowned US economist Jeffrey Sachs about geopolitical trends and challenges facing small countries like Serbia.

"I am pleased to have had an opportunity to speak with world-renowned economist Jeffrey Sachs and hear his views on how he sees the state of our economy and on where the world is heading today," Mali posted on Instagram.

Mali added that the discussion had addressed geopolitical trends and challenges facing small countries like Serbia, how Sachs saw Europe in five to ten years, how the Ukraine war had broken out and whether US President Donald Trump would attack Venezuela, as well as Sachs's advice to Serbia.
