BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with the ambassadors of EU member states on Friday, noting that Serbia remained committed to dialogue, stability and a responsible approach, with a clear desire to demonstrate, through its work and results, that it was a dependable partner to the EU.
"An open and substantial discussion with the ambassadors of EU member states about Serbia's EU path, the reforms we are implementing and the challenges we are facing," Vucic posted on Instagram.
He added that, to that end and at his proposal, the Serbian government had decided to set up an operating team tasked with coordinating expedited fulfilment of all commitments on Serbia's EU path and that the team had held its first session earlier in the day.
"I believe that it is only through cooperation, mutual respect and concrete steps that we can build a better and safer future for all citizens," Vucic noted.
The meeting with the ambassadors was also attended by Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic and Minister for European Integration Nemanja Starovic.
