BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut received Swiss Ambassador to Belgrade Anne Lugon-Moulin on Wednesday to discuss further development of bilateral cooperation and, in particular, investments and new projects.
Macut and Lugon-Moulin noted that successful operations of Swiss companies in Serbia were a signal to others in Switzerland to invest in the country, and that Switzerland was among Serbia's most important economic partners, the government press office said in a statement.
"The Prime Minister and the Ambassador also discussed the improvement of human and minority rights, as well as the strengthening of diplomatic relations and ties between the two countries.
The Ambassador emphasised Switzerland's readiness to continue supporting reforms in Serbia and its path towards membership in the European Union," it also said.
