BELGRADE, June 30 (Tanjug) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met on Tuesday with the ambassadors of EU member states at a working lunch that marked the conclusion of Cyprus's Council of the EU presidency.
"An excellent discussion, during a working lunch, with the ambassadors of EU member states about the relations with the EU, the enlargement policy and Serbia's EU path. I thanked the Republic of Cyprus, which is concluding its Council of the EU Presidency, for its principled attitude towards Serbia and its continued support for our country," Vucic posted on Instagram.
He noted that Serbia remained committed to the EU path and would continue to carry out reforms while fully respecting and safeguarding its state and national interests and always looking after the best interest of its citizens.
Cyprus, whose six-month EU presidency ends on Tuesday, will be succeeded by Ireland on Wednesday, July 1.
