Dacic receives delegation of Gabonese MFA

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic received a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Gabon in Belgrade on Wednesday.

The parties confirmed the good bilateral relations and a readiness to advance cooperation in all areas, in particular in the economy.

Dacic spoke with Ambassador Maximin Magoualamangoye, director-general for international cooperation, Ambassador Viviane Ngoni, director for international cultural, scientific and technical cooperation, and Ambassador Bernice Owono, director for institutional and humanitarian cooperation and decentralisation.

Dacic thanked Gabon for it support of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.

The parties noted that bilateral ties needed to be strengthened through advancement of political dialogue at high and the highest level, as well as that 2023 marked the 50th anniversary of Serbia-Gabon diplomatic relations, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
