BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic on Tuesday received a courtesy visit from a Polish delegation headed by the chairman of the country's parliamentary committee on foreign affairs.
The parties agreed that bilateral relations are very good, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Dacic said Serbia was striving to maintain the closest possible ties with Poland and would continue to work to deepen cooperation in all areas of common interest.
The Polish side reiterated support to Serbia on the path to EU membership and announced the opening of a Polish cultural centre in Belgrade.
The parties especially noted the significance of advancement of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
They also discussed the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and current international affairs.
They agreed that there were numerous opportunities for further strengthening of all forms of cooperation in mutual interest, the statement said.
