Dacic quashes reports of candidacy for PM

BELGRADE - Serbian FM and Socialist Party of Serbia leader Ivica Dacic on Wednesday dismissed as untrue reports by some media outlets that he was being considered by President Aleksandar Vucic as a potential successor to PM Ana Brnabic in case she resigned.

"That was not a topic and was not mentioned in yesterday's discussion with President Aleksandar Vucic," Dacic said in a statement to Tanjug, noting that the meeting with Vucic had addressed the "plans and goals of our cooperation in the period to come."
