Brnabic meets with Egypt's El Gebaly

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic met with the Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives Hanafy El Gebaly on Thursday and noted that Serbia-Egypt relations were based on sincere friendship and cooperation and that this year marked 115 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Brnabic said bilateral political relations were on a high level and that there was space for advancement of cooperation in the economy, culture, energy, technology, student exchanges and other areas, the Serbian government said in a statement.

Brnabic especially thanked Egypt for supporting Serbia's successful bid to host EXPO 2027.
