Museveni: Discussions in Belgrade useful, I came to renew cooperation

BELGRADE - Uganda's President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni said on Sunday in Belgrade he had had very useful discussions in the Serbian capital and noted that the goal of his visit was to renew the cooperation between the two countries.

At a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Museveni said the two countries had had an excellent relationship in the era of former Yugoslav President Tito but had subsequently lost connection due to internal problems.

He said he was glad Serbia was a stable country that was developing and added that he was in Belgrade to renew the cooperation between the two countries.
