Dacic: Arrest lists for Serbs proof of Kurti's lunacy

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic said on Friday arrest lists for Serbs were another proof of the lunacy of Pristina PM Albin Kurti's actions and an indicator of how prepared he was to escalate the situation further.

Speaking to reporters in Belgrade, Dacic said the arrest lists confirmed two things.

"The first is that their (Pristina's) claims that there are no such lists are a lie, and they also include members of President (Aleksandar) Vucic's family. The second thing that is confirmed is that Albin Kurti and his clique are the main cause of all problems, the main disturbing factor and a threat to peace and stability in the region."

That is disgraceful and impermissible, Dacic said, adding that he expected a reaction from the international community, but that he had heard none to date.

"It is clear to everyone that President Vucic and Serbia are the constructive part of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. Everyone is saying that Kurti is the problem, but what are they doing to solve that problem? By remaining silent, they are giving him support to expel Serbs from Kosovo-Metohija," Dacic concluded.
