Dacic meets with UNODC's Rizzi

BELGRADE, Dec 6 (Tanjug) - Serbia's First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met with the head of the UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime) regional office for southeastern Europe Danilo Rizzi on Wednesday.

A statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia said Dacic and Rizzi had confirmed the good cooperation between Serbia and the UNODC, both through the MFA and other relevant Serbian government ministries and through Serbia's Permanent Mission to the OSCE and other international organisations in Vienna.

The parties expressed mutual interest in stepping up political as well as technical cooperation on issues of importance both to Serbia and entire southeastern Europe.

Rizzi noted that Belgrade stood out as the hub of UNODC activities in the region in terms of the scope and the significance of activities his office was organising in Serbia in collaboration with the relevant authorities.
