MUNICH - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday evening he had had many important meetings on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, including with UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron and London's special Western Balkans envoy Stuart Peach, EU Budget Commissioner Johannes Hahn and representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Speaking to reporters in Munich, Vucic said he had had an accidental but "longer than expected" discussion with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

"I attended the speech of (US Vice President) Kamala Harris," Vucic also said, adding that he had mainly discussed economic topics with investors and German government representatives this afternoon.

He said EXPO 2027 and tough but achievable goals such as growth of GDP, wages and pensions were always on his mind, but noted that they called for a large number of investments.

"I believe we will continue that. Tomorrow, I will have two meetings with Americans - with senators and dinner in the evening with all Americans who are here," Vucic said.
