BELGRADE - We, A Voice From The People MP Branimir Nestorovic reiterated on Friday his movement would not change its position on becoming a part of a new ruling coalition in the city assembly of Belgrade.
Nestorovic said this after the constitutive session of the assembly was postponed for a second time until March 3 due to a lack of quorum.
Speaking to reporters, he added that the decision was a matter of principle, rather than of political bargaining.
"Out of principle, we do not want to be involved," he said.
Asked why he had not attended consultations with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on a PM designate earlier in the day, Nestorovic said a delegation of the movement - comprised of Aleksandar Pavic, Bogdana Koljevic Keler and Branko Lukic - had met with Vucic, paying respect to the institution of president.
"We had other things to do, we paid respect to the institution of president. Three of our representatives went," he added.
