Vucevic: Gojkovic PM designate for Vojvodina province

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Designate Milos Vucevic, who will present his programme to MPs on Wednesday, announced Maja Gojkovic had been given the mandate to form the new government of Serbia's Vojvodina province.

Vucevic was speaking to reporters after a session of the presidency of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party.

"Maja Gojkovic was given the mandate to form the provincial government. The deadline for electing the provincial government is slightly longer - May 9 if I am not mistaken - and as early as today, Maja Gojkovic will start discussions with the groups in the Vojvodina Assembly to form the future provincial government. We wish her complete success," Vucevic said.
