BELGRADE - Sinisa Mali said on Tuesday he was "extremely honoured" to be put forward for first deputy PM and finance minister in the new Serbian government.
"To date, we have achieved much success together, but we are aware that even bigger challenges and obligations are ahead of us. Our economy is doing well, we have succeeded in preserving macroeconomic stability and, despite the global economic crisis, we continue to implement all planned projects," Mali, who also serves as finance minister in the outgoing government, wrote in a post on his Instagram account.
With determination and dedication, the government continues to confront the challenges that are ahead to ensure a better future for all Serbian citizens, Mali added.
