BELGRADE - Serbia's new PM Milos Vucevic said on Thursday evening he would invest all his efforts to preserve the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
"Today, the new Serbian government took the oath of office before the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. As PM, I take upon myself the responsibility to steer the work of our Government to the benefit of our Fatherland and all its citizens in the coming period by using constitutional and legal powers. To ensure that we remain worthy of our glorious ancestors and that future generations are not ashamed of us," Vucevic wrote in an Instagram post.
Earlier in the day, his cabinet was elected in the Serbian parliament.
One hundred and fifty-two of 213 MPs in attendance voted in favour and 61 voted against, and there were no abstentions.
