Djuric speaks with Algeria's Affat

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric spoke with Algerian counterpart Ahmed Attaf on Thursday about further advancement of bilateral cooperation in all areas of interest to Serbia and Algeria.

Djuric noted trade was one of the strongest ties in the cooperation between the two countries, the Serbian MFA said in a statement.

"The Serbian FM said our two countries maintain traditionally friendly relations, to be affirmed further by exchanging high- and top-level visits in the coming period," the statement said.

Djuric thanked Algeria for voting in favour of Serbia's successful bid to host EXPO 2027 and expressed the hope Belgrade would also have an opportunity to welcome an Algerian delegation at the event.
