SNS-led electoral list wins 44.31 pct of votes in Nis local elections

NIS - Based on 100 pct of votes from 197 polling stations in Nis, the Serbian Progressive Party-led Aleksandar Vucic - Nis Tomorrow electoral list won 44.31 pct of votes in Sunday's elections for the city assembly, claiming 30 seats in the legislature.

According to figures released by the city election commission, the Dr Dragan Milic Civic Group won 24.49 pct of votes or 16 seats, and is followed by the We Choose Nis - Djordje Stankovic list (16.12 pct/10 seats), the United-Hope for Nis-Miodrag Stankovic-Nova list (3.88 pct/2 seats) and the Dr Savo Manojlovic-I Am Nis, Too-Get Going - Change list (3.93 pct/2 seats), while the Russian Party-Russia and Nis in The Heart-Tihomir Peric list won 1.1 pct of votes, or 1 seat in the assembly.
