NOVI SAD - In Sunday's elections for the Novi Sad city assembly, a coalition around the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) won 52.55 pct of 100 pct of votes counted (87,791), or 45 seats in the legislature, the city election commission said in an official report on the preliminary election results.
The United For Free Novi Sad electoral list won 21 seats, or 24.27 pct of votes (40,541) and is followed by the Dr Savo Manojlovic-I Am Novi Sad, Too, Get Going - Change list with eight seats, or 10.01 pct of votes (16,723) and the Heroes - Misa Baculov list with three seats, or 3.79 pct of votes (6,332).
The Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians will have one seat in the assembly after winning 1.23 pct of votes (2,062).
