Serbian gov't abolishes COVID-19 crisis headquarters

BELGRADE - The Serbian government decided on Thursday to abolish a crisis headquarters set up to contain COVID-19.

In a statement, the government said a decision to abolish the crisis headquarters had been adopted as the spread of COVID-19 and all its subvariants had declined significantly compared to the period in which the body had been established and because there was no need for coordinated action by public administration authorities and experts in the medical and other professions.
