One of three patients seriously injured in Novi Sad accident dies

NOVI SAD - One of the three patients seriously injured in the November 1 overhang collapse at the Novi Sad railway station died at the Vojvodina Clinical Centre on Sunday afternoon, said the institution's Acting Director Vesna Turkulov.

"The person is a female patient who had the most serious injuries, the fifteenth victim of the accident that happened in Novi Sad on November 1. Despite the doctors' struggle and their efforts, the outcome was fatal," Turkulov said, noting that the patient's injuries had been life-threatening from the very beginning and that doctors continued to fight for the lives of two other people seriously injured in the accident, in which 14 people were killed on the spot.
