BELGRADE - The Serbia men's national water polo team beat Hungary 15-14 (4-4, 4-3, 5-1, 2-6) at the European Water Polo Championship in Belgrade on Sunday evening to secure a berth in the competition's semi-finals.
Dusan Mandic and Nikola Jaksic led the scoring for Serbia with three goals each, while Milos Cuk and Strahinja Rasovic each scored a brace.
Serbia goalkeeper Milan Glusac produced a fantastic performance with 14 saves.
Serbia, which also defeated France 14-10 on Friday, is currently on top of the Group E table with 11 points and will face Montenegro in the last round of the group stage.
Spain and Hungary, which have nine points each, will fight it out for the other semi-final slot.
Montenegro has six points, the Netherlands has one, while France has zero points.
