Maccabi Tel Aviv to play EuroLeague home games in Belgrade

BELGRADE - Maccabi Tel Aviv will play their home games in the basketball EuroLeague in Belgrade in the coming period, the EuroLeague has announced.

Israeli clubs have been unable to host international games since the outbreak of the war in Israel and the Gaza Strip.

Maccabi will hold practice sessions at the Mega hall and play their games at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall.

Maccabi will play their first EuroLeague home game in Belgrade on November 9, when they host Bayern Munich.

The Israeli club has been given all guarantees and support from the City of Belgrade and the Serbian government, with the necessary security measures to be discussed on a daily basis.
