BELGRADE - Red Star Belgrade lost 3-2 to Manchester City at home in a UEFA Champions League Group G Matchday 6 game on Wednesday evening.
In front of slightly fewer than 50,000 spectators at the Rajko Mitic Stadium, In-Beom Hwang and Aleksandar Katai provided the goals for Red Star in the 76th and the 91st minute, respectively, while Micah Hamilton (19 min), Oscar Bobb (62 min) and Kalvin Phillips (85 min pen) netted for the visitors.
The match was the last game of Red Star's European campaign this season.
In the other Group G game, RB Leipzig beat Young Boys 2-1 at home.
Manchester City finished the group stage on top of the table with 18 points and are followed by RB Leipzig with 12 points, Young Boys with four points and Red Star with one point.
