BELGRADE - Serbia has offered Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) a solution to the two countries' border issue in the form of a non-paper that would see the Zvornik and Bajina Basta hydropower plants situated in Serbian territory in their entirety, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told a press conference after meeting with the BiH Presidency on Wednesday.

He said the members of the tripartite Presidency had had a different proposal that had to do with the plants' status but that the issue would be discussed further.

Covic: Proposed model fair, even gentlemanly in some parts

BELGRADE - Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Presidency Chairman Dragan Covic on Wednesday thanked Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic for the "alternatives offered" in the model aimed at solving the border issue between the two countries.

"Thank you for giving us possibilities and alternatives. I regret the fact we did not make better use of the time that has passed since Vucic's visit to BiH, but now we have a model for the borders that is more or less accepted in principle," Covic told a joint press conference with Vucic.
