Gasic congratulates Serbia's future defence attaches

BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic on Wednesday congratulated Serbian Armed Forces officers who are to assume the duties of Serbian defence attaches in Algeria, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Germany, Romania and the UK, and noted that the responsible and honourable duties required a high level of professionalism and dedication.

Gasic noted that, through their work, the officers would be representing not only the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, but the Republic of Serbia as a whole, contributing to strengthening of international military cooperation and Serbia's reputation.

He expressed the belief that, governed by patriotism and loyalty to their country, the future defence attaches would steadfastly safeguard Serbia's interests and affirm the credibility of the defence system in their countries of service, the MoD said in a statement.
