Brnabic meets with Hill

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met with US Ambassador to Belgrade Christopher Hill on Wednesday.

The parties met for the first time since Brnabic assumed her present post.

Brnabic and Hill said they were confident they would continue to have a good relationship and good cooperation in the future, the parliament's press office said in a statement.

Brnabic said she intended to establish dialogue with the opposition during her tenure as parliament speaker and noted that she had called consultations of all political groups in the legislature for Thursday.

She also said she had called a session of the Collegium of the National Assembly for Monday to discuss with all political groups and a government working group the implementation of recommendations issued by ODIHR.
