GDANSK - Serbian Minister for European Integration Nemanja Starovic attended the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdansk on Thursday, noting that Serbia consistently supported the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all internationally recognised states.

"It was emphasised at the conference that Serbia remains committed to providing humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and supports the efforts of the international community aimed at mitigating the consequences of the conflict and rebuilding the affected areas.

Serbia also consistently supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all internationally recognised states, including Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations," the Serbian government said in a statement.

On the sidelines of the conference, Starovic held several bilateral meetings - with Ukrainian Deputy PM Taras Kachka, the FMs of Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Azerbaijan and Slovenia, as well as with Italian Minister for European Affairs Tommaso Fotti and US Under Secretary of State for Foreign Assistance, Humanitarian Affairs and Religious Freedom Jeremy Lewin.

"Issues of importance to Serbia’s European integration process, bilateral cooperation and current European and international agenda matters were discussed" at the meetings, the statement said.
